Okay, so I’ve kinda taken to making lists. So please bear with me to see how long this lasts! Here’s my latest, my wishlist for 2010:
- Liverpool finishes in the top 4 at the end of the season. I know there are sceptics out there. But I’m an optimist. Top 4 here we come!
- Barcelona retains atleast their La Liga title. To repeat 2009’s feats are almost impossible. But if anyone can do it, it has to be this Barcelona team under the charge of Pep Guardiloa. However, if they don’t manage the treble again, I will be happy if they can retain La Liga.
A team that has never won it before will win the Champions League at the Bernabeu. Best chance probably Arsenal?
Ferguson stops chewing! (I know this one is unlikely to come true)
The return of Ronaldinho. He was one of my favourite. We’ve seen glimpses of his former self in the past year. But I want the full deal. Can he manage to wriggle his way back into the Brazil NT? Here’s a compilation of some of his amazing skills:
An African team makes it to the Semis at the World Cup (the furthest an African team has made it was to the Quarters). My money would be on Ivory Coast…if they manage to make it out of their group.
A successful World Cup (yippee!)
I wish all the A Football Blog Readers a wonderful 2010!
