Real Report: Higuain out for 3 weeks, Benzema not happy at Real & more

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the intergral player at Real Madrid. He believes that he’s proved himself

He said: “When I arrived at Madrid everyone judged me. It was said that I was this and that and people wrote I would be out every night at the clubs and with girlfriends.

“And finally now what do they talk about? They talk about the goals I scored and the games I play. That’s all.

“I’ve won everything with Manchester United, and now I want to win everything at Real Madrid. No one can doubt that this is my true desire.”

Captain Iker Casillas is sure (hoping) that Barcelona slip up sometime soon:

“Barcelona’s players are human and it is normal that they cannot keep up the same pace as before,” said Casillas.

Iker has also just been named by the IFFHS as the best goal keeper in the world, for the second year running.

Coach Manuel Pellegrini has said that he apparently doesn’t need to add to his squad this month, squashing rumours that he was on the lookout for a centreback to replace the injured Pepe.

“I have not asked for players. The squad is complete. There was never any intention of signing, despite the injury to Pepe. I think we can keep everyone here until the end of the season,” said Pelegrini.

“In principle I do not think we need to make additions.”

Apparently Benzema is not too happy with his role at Real Madrid. In recent days, Higuain has taken precedence over Karim in the pecking order. The Frenchman told L’Equipe: “Yes, we can say that I’m disappointed to be left on tje bench.”

“But in a big club, things are like that. I have to learn and regain my spot in the team.”

His displeasure has alerted Manchester United and Sir Alex, who has been a long time admirer of Benzema. And had Madrid not signed him in the summer, it was widely speculated that he would been at Old Trafford.

Gonzalo Higuain has sustained a grade I-II fibrilar tear on his Left Femoral Biceps, and is expected to be out for 3 weeks. This report was confirmed on the official site after the Argentine underwent an MRI and Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital this morning.
