United made sure that they kept the pressure on Chelsea by overcoming Wolves 3-0. Rooney put in a penalty, Vidic and Valencia also got their names onto the scoresheet. United are now level with Chelsea at the very top of the table, but Chelsea have a game in hand, which will be played tomorrow.
The talking point before the match was that Wolves boss, McCartjy made 10 changes to the team that beat Spurs on the weekend, but to no avail.
